In a recent meeting of the Columbia County Board of Supervisors, a significant discussion unfolded regarding a contamination issue at Sharon's market in Chatham, which has raised concerns among local residents and officials alike. The incident began when a customer reported receiving contaminated diesel fuel, prompting immediate action from local authorities.

A representative from the Public Works department recounted how he received a call early one morning about the contaminated diesel. He promptly visited the site, taking samples and using a water-indicating paste to check for contaminants.
