The company announced this week that affected customers could see repair reimbursements soon. 

The incident, which occurred last week, caused numerous vehicles to break down after refueling. Local mechanics estimated repair costs ranging from $3,000 to $4,500, with at least one case nearing $10,000 for a newer SUV.
