Bhat Filling Station allegedly mixed water in fuel

SDM Chadura Prince Hameed said samples of the allegedly ‘mixed’ oil were taken by the police for testing.
“We had received complaints that water was being mixed in petrol and diesel at the pump.”
“We sent a team to investigate the matter. After collecting samples, the petrol pump has been sealed,” he said.
One of the protesters said that petrol pump owner offered him bribe for remaining silent over the issue.
“He offered me Rs 50,000 but I thought of other transporters who fill their vehicles here.”
“I have four tractors and all have developed technical problems due to adultered fuel that I purchase from this filling station,” he said.
