CT DCP: 25 cars impacted after diesel was put into gas tanks at Southington gas station

Diesel fuel was put into the gas tanks two weeks ago at a gas station in Southington, according to the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection (CT DCP).

The incident happened at Metro Gas on West Street. The tanks were cleaned, and the bad fuel was removed the next day, according to CT DCP.

CT DCP said that the company that delivered the fuel, Forbes Fuel, is taking care of all customer complaints. Twenty five cars appear to be impacted.
