TYLER, TX (KLTV) - An East Texas man says he believes bad gasoline made his vehicle shut down just two miles after filling up.

Bryce Fisher of Tyler says water in his gas tank cost him between $500 and $700; he had to have a mechanic drain his tank and flush the gas lines.

"I got 1.8 miles down the road and my car just completely shut down," Fisher said. "[My car] is a newer Nissan Juke and hadn't had any problems, just 30,000 miles on it."

This happened in Tyler at the King Mart gas station at 2211 W Southwest Loop 323.

Fisher says a sample taken from his Nissan by his mechanic had a separated mixture of about two thirds gas and one third water.
