Unleaded pumps at a Mapco station on Nolensville Pike were shut off Wednesday night, but customers who filled up before said they immediately knew something was wrong.
Ed Coleman, a fuel quality administrator with the Tennessee Department of Agriculture, said he had never seen anything like this in his career.
“This regular unleaded gasoline was contaminated with diesel fuel,” Coleman said
