Police arrived at the Tesco Express petrol station in Eastville, Bristol, after motorists failed to get very far after using the faulty pump. Avon and Somerset police were first called out at 5.40am after one car sputtered to a stop on the M32
‘Four cars are broken down, God knows how many there are more,’ Safoor Malik, who was at the petrol station, said. ‘They have mixed up petrol with diesel at the pump. They’ve put the wrong fuel in the pumps’.
