WHITE BEAR LAKE, Minn. - A number of motorists complained that their cars just weren't running right after filling up at an east metro Super America (SA) gas station last week.

Now we know why.

A media spokesman says a "trace amount" of water was discovered in the unleaded fuel supply at the SA located at 2055 East County Road E in White Bear Lake. Scott Labelle said in an email to KARE 11 that SA received a number of reports the week of July 1 that customers were experiencing engine troubles after gassing up at that location. A followup investigation revealed the water contamination problem.
