In a statement, NP says it is aware of the claims and adds that it remains committed to ensuring that its investigations and analysis of the matter are concluded as quickly as possible.

It further notes that any issues identified will be addressed expeditiously.

This follows a statement by the Petroleum Dealers Association on Tuesday which said that some eight gas stations received fuel contaminated with water.

Meanwhile, Unipet says it has not been affected by the recent, unfortunate gasoline contamination incident.
